Snowshoe hiking in the Bregenzerwald

In the wintry ambience, the Bregenzerwald and its idyllic landscapes become a popular destination for snowshoe hikes. The opportunity to discover the enchanting beauty off the beaten track gives the snowy season a very special fascination. Accompanied by a thermos of hot tea and optimally equipped, even the cold temperatures are no obstacle. This creates space for an undisturbed experience of nature that encompasses all the senses. We have selected a few recommended snowshoe hikes for you.

Sibratsgfäll – geo tour

Discover the breathtaking circular route on the Rindberg in Sibratsgfäll, which, with its 13 stations, lets you experience the impressive power of nature. In turbulent May 1999, an unstoppable movement set the mountainsides in motion, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake – 20 buildings, roads, fields and forests were affected. The effects of this drastic event can still be felt today in the landscape and in the hearts of the people.

The Georund Rindberg tells this story impressively and conveys fascinating information. Particularly impressive is the “Haus von Felber”, which shows visitors the unbridled power of the forces of nature up close and at the same time provides a fascinating insight into the majestic nature of the Nagelfluhkette Nature Park.
